Hello Colt Andrews Elementary School Community:

I am very excited to be able to share my first year as principal in such a wonderful school district.  I started my career 15 years ago as a teacher in a youth detention facility and then moved on to a 6th grade teaching position at a public elementary school.  Most recently, I was the assistant principal at a local middle school.

As I reflect on my first few months here at Colt Andrews Elementary School, I have to say that I am truly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community.  The staff at Colt Andrews is dedicated and skilled, the students are eager to learn and the families are very supportive of the school.  Taken from our school pledge, we promise to be respectful, responsible, to work hard, celebrate success, and to help others.  I see this in the students and teachers actions daily.

I plan on continuing many of the traditions of the Colt Andrews Elementary School, but look forward to exploring new programs and ideas that will continue the school on the path to success.
